Thomas named starting goalie for Panthers opener
Having not played in an NHL regular season game in 15 months, Tim Thomas will start in goal for the Florida PanthersThursday night in Dallas.

Dineen told FloridaPanthers.com that it will be the, "first and last goalie announcement of the year."
Thomas played in two preseason games, finishing with a .875 save percentage.
