Esteban Ocon: Great Las Vegas Performance
Ocon finished fourth in the Las Vegas Grand Prix F1 race at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit on Saturday.
Analysis:
Ocon narrowly missed the podium with a great drive on the Las Vegas street course. The Alpine veteran would start 16th on the grid and make up several spots on a smashing opening lap. Ocon would find himself P8 by the lap 2 virtual safety car. His lap 20 pit stop would come from P5 and that good track position gained would stick the rest of the way. Ocon would do battle with George Russell down the stretch and narrowly lose out at the finish line, but Russell's 5-second penalty for contact with Max Verstappen would promote Ocon to a brilliant P4.
