RGIII suggests Raiders should interview Marshawn Lynch for HC position
ESPN analyst and former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III has an interesting suggestion for who the Las Vegas Raiders should bring in as their next head coach.
Following the Raiders' firing of Josh McDaniels earlier this week, Griffin floated retired running back Marshawn Lynch's name as a potential replacement.
Alright…hear me out.

Marshawn Lynch should AT LEAST get a HEAD COACH interview with the Raiders this off-season. Lean into the Raider way, team becomes feared with his style and mentality. Load up his staff with experience and proven coordinators. Who says no? @MoneyLynch https://t.co/X1xlhv7BMg
The suggestion was met with mixed reactions from X users:
You complained when Jeff Saturday got a coaching job with no real coaching experience. Marshawn Lynch has even less than Saturday.

Kind of love this take…

Coach Prime opened the door. The next wave of coaches is incoming!
Marshawn is having the time of his life doing whatever he wants whenever he wants, why in the world would he take a head coaching job out of the blue for his *no longer hometown* Raiders? https://t.co/etfBmsVn2i

I love Marshawn but he's not polished enough to wear all the hats of a NFL head coach. You have to be a politician, coach, counselor, strategist, and expert communicator

Lynch played two seasons for the then-Oakland Raiders following his initial retirement from football in 2016. He last played in the NFL during the 2019 season with the Seattle Seahawks.
The Raiders parted ways with both McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler on Tuesday after a 3-5 start to the season. Linebackers coach Antonio Pierce was named interim head coach, and assistant GM Champ Kelly will serve as interim general manager.
