Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Tuesday that receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is fully cleared to return to the field, but the team plans to monitor his reps as mandatory minicamp begins.

"He's going to be full go in terms of health and all of that, but also expect us to ramp up a lot of our guys," Harbaugh said. "We're going to see where guys are at. We're not going to be in a hurry to throw guys out there too much, too many reps. We want to get a feel for everything."

It'll be Beckham's first official practice since he suffered a torn ACL in Super Bowl LVI in February 2022.

"I feel good," Beckham said Tuesday. "It feels good to get out of bed and not feel pain."

The Ravens landed Beckham - one of this offseason's top free agents - on a one-year, $15-million deal. The three-time Pro Bowler, who didn't play last season, scored five touchdowns in eight regular-season appearances with the Super Bowl-winning Los Angeles Rams in 2021. The 30-year-old began that season with the Cleveland Browns but left the club midway through the campaign.

In Baltimore, Beckham will be part of a new offense coordinated by Todd Monken, who joined the Ravens this year after helping Georgia win two national titles.

"He's learned the offense for the first time, just like a lot of guys have been," Harbaugh said of Beckham. "I think it'll be a see-as-we-go - go through individual (practice), take a few reps in group and team, and see how he and the other guys feel."

Beckham is joining a revamped wide receiver depth chart that also features Rashod Bateman, Devin Duvernay, Nelson Agholor, and first-round rookie Zay Flowers, among others.

Harbaugh said he's excited by what Beckham adds to the team.

"The one thing I've seen about Odell, like all of our guys, is he loves football," Harbaugh said. "The other thing we like is guys who want to be here. He's very excited to be here. He wants to be here, so that combination is good. ... He's a highly decorated player, without question - has been in all the big battles over the years."

Beckham isn't concerned about his working relationship with quarterback Lamar Jackson.

"Chemistry is going to develop over time," he said. "I'll be down in Florida training with him. ... It's not something that I'm worried about. The most important thing is getting ready for the season coming up in September."
