Dwight Howard hasn't closed the door on the possibility of returning to the NBA.

The eight-time All-Star, who's currently playing for the Taoyuan Leopards of the T1 League in Taiwan, told Shams Charania on FanDuel TV's "Run It Back" that he'd like to chase another NBA title before he retires.

"I would love to come back to play in the NBA," Howard said. "Also, I do enjoy playing international basketball. Just the experience is one of a kind. It's a different type of grind than being in the NBA, and I had a chance to experience it. But I would love to finish off my career with an NBA team, hopefully win an NBA championship."

Howard added that regardless of what his future holds, he's happy with how his career panned out.

"I've enjoyed playing basketball for so long, and I'm just thankful that I've had the opportunity to travel and play in the NBA," he said. It's the best life."

Howard last played in the NBA during the 2021-22 season as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, with whom he won a championship in 2020.

In 20 games with the Leopards this season, the 37-year-old averaged 23.2 points, 16.2 rebounds, and 5.0 assists.
