The Boston Red Sox and outfielder Adam Duvall agreed to a one-year, $7-million deal, a source told SportsGrid's Craig Mish.

Duvall's agreement includes performance bonuses that could push the total to $10 million, per Mish.

The 34-year-old slashed .213/.276/.401 with 12 home runs and 36 RBIs in 86 games for the Atlanta Braves last season, which followed a successful 2021 campaign where he hit 38 homers and led the National League with 113 RBIs.

Boston reportedly believes the 2021 Gold Glove winner can man center field. Enrique Hernandez was originally supposed to play the position before an injury to Trevor Story shifted him to the infield.

Duvall has spent the majority of his career playing left field. He has 75 games of experience in center across nine major-league seasons.

The one-time All-Star is the latest addition by the Red Sox, who also signed Masataka Yoshida, Justin Turner, Corey Kluber, and Kenley Jansen, among others, this offseason.

Rafael Devers also received an 11-year, $331-million contract extension.
