Kraft extends game invite to Patriots fan heckled in Las Vegas
The New England Patriots fan seen in a viral video being heckled by a Las Vegas Raiders fan at Allegiant Stadium will receive the VIP treatment in Foxborough this week.
Patriots fan Jerry Edmond was in Las Vegas to attend his first NFL game, which ended in a 30-24 loss for New England. One Raiders fan decided to rub in the defeat by getting in Edmond's face, and the exchange was captured on video.
Someone find me this man. I owe him a beer. Entire game this lady was chirping at him for CHEERING for the Patriots in “her” stadium. Absolute shit ending for NE & she’s up in his face. He stayed calm after seeing the worst loss ever. I know I wouldn’t. He deserves some love. pic.twitter.com/gaKuSv3YqO

The video caught the attention of Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who called Edmond personally to invite him to Saturday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to Alexandra Francisco of Patriots.com. Edmond will also reportedly receive a customized jersey and field passes to take in the pregame warmups.
Edmond responded to the viral video Tuesday, tweeting, "I'd like to thank everyone for all the kind words. I'm the Patriots fan in the video, my name is Jerry Edmond, and that was my first ever NFL game. I didn't want to ruin my experience by retaliating toward that woman, so I kept my cool."
