Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham will miss the next four games due to left shin soreness, the team announced Saturday.
The second-year player will be re-evaluated in one week.
Veteran guard Cory Joseph started in Cunningham's place during Friday's contest against the New York Knicks.
Cunningham is averaging 19.9 points, 6.2 boards, and six assists over 12 appearances this season. The Oklahoma State product finished third in the 2021-22 Rookie of the Year voting.
Detroit enters Saturday's slate of play with an East-worst 3-10 mark.
