Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton will miss at least two weeks after sustaining an MCL sprain in Wednesday's Game 2 loss to the Chicago Bulls, the team announced Thursday.

He'll be sidelined for the remainder of the opening round and potentially part of the next one should the Bucks advance.

Middleton exited midway through the fourth quarter after slipping while driving to the basket.

The three-time All-Star averaged 14.5 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and 1.5 steals through the first two contests of the series.

Middleton was an instrumental part of the Bucks' championship run a year ago, registering 23.6 points, 7.6 boards, 5.1 assists, and 1.5 steals across 23 playoff appearances.

Veteran guard George Hill isn't expected back soon either due to an abdominal strain. Big man Bobby Portis wasn't listed on the club's latest injury report despite leaving Game 2 early.

The series now shifts to the Windy City for Games 3 and 4 beginning Friday at 8:30 p.m. ET.
