Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers is looking for a new contract valued at over $300 million, Jeff Passan of ESPN told WEEI's "The Greg Hill Show" on Wednesday.
Boston is reportedly offering Devers a deal worth over $200 million.
The All-Star will make $11.2 million this season and is arbitration-eligible through 2023 before becoming a free agent.
Devers has previously said he's open to signing an extension with the Red Sox but doesn't want to discuss a deal during the season.
The 25-year-old owns a .280/.338/.510 slash line with 113 homers and 371 RBIs over six years with Boston. He went deep a career-high 38 times in 2021 to earn his first Silver Slugger Award.
