New York Knicks forward Julius Randle was fined $50,000 for shoving Phoenix Suns forward Cameron Johnson on Friday, the NBA announced.
Randle was ejected in the third quarter of the Knicks' 115-114 loss after initiating the scuffle with Johnson. He also made contact with a referee attempting to separate the two players.
The league also cited "noncompliance with an NBA investigation" as part of the reason for the fine.
Johnson, who was also assessed a technical foul on the play, went on to hit the game-winner at the buzzer, finishing with a career-high 38 points.
