The Minnesota Timberwolves have made Georgia guard Anthony Edwards the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Edwards' stock shifted up and down in the months prior to the draft, but the 19-year-old enters the league as the top wing prospect in the class. He possesses the skill set as a slasher and shooter to develop into an All-Star caliber player, but Edwards will need to demonstrate more consistency to tap into his full potential.

He compares himself to Dwyane Wade, but the Miami Heat legend thinks Edwards could be even better.

"I just feel like I can score the ball, and my playmaking ability is underrated," Edwards told reporters during a pre-draft media availability. "Those two things will help a team tremendously."
