Mississippi State running back Kylin Hill is expected to leave the team to focus on preparing for the 2021 NFL Draft next spring, according to AL.com's Matt Zenitz.

Hill exploded for 192 total yards in Mississippi State's season-opening upset of LSU. He's recorded 15 rushing attempts for 58 yards to go along with 23 receptions for 237 yards on the season.

Those numbers are a far cry from his 2019 All-SEC performance, when he recorded 1,350 yards and 10 touchdowns.

The senior tailback was suspended for the team's matchup against Texas A&M. On Monday, head coach Mike Leach said Hill was "still unavailable" ahead of Saturday's clash against Alabama.

Hill concludes his Mississippi State career with 2,535 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns. He also produced 67 receptions to go along with 631 yards and six touchdowns.
