Denver Nuggets swingman Will Barton has been ruled out for the foreseeable future due to lingering knee soreness, a source told The Denver Post's Mike Singer.

Barton has been battling the injury for over three weeks and his condition has not improved, Singer reports.

The 29-year-old hasn't played since the Nuggets' last scrimmage leading up to the season's restart. He played 18 minutes against the Orlando Magic, recording just three points and two rebounds.

Barton was Denver's third-best scorer during the regular season behind Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. He averaged 15.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.1 steals in 33 minutes per game. Barton also shot 37.5% on five 3-point attempts per contest.
