Los Angeles Clippers center Montrezl Harrell has left the NBA's bubble in Orlando due to an "emergency family matter," sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The 26-year-old reportedly plans to return at a later date.

On Thursday, New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson also left the campus environment for similar reasons.

Any player who leaves the premises will undergo a minimum four-day quarantine period if they test negative for COVID-19 each day they're outside the bubble, according to ESPN's Tim Bontemps.

If the individual doesn't undergo daily COVID-19 testing, they will be quarantined for 10 days before being granted entry.

Harrell is averaging career highs in points (18.6 per game) and rebounds (7.1) across 63 appearances this season.

The Clippers are set to resume their 2019-20 campaign July 30 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
