The Cleveland Indians have committed to paying a majority of their full-time employees through at least June 30, according to Jeff Passan of ESPN.

Forty senior staff members reportedly agreed to pay cuts to help with the financial burden as the 2020 season continues to be on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Part-time workers and interns with the Indians have been furloughed but can potentially make the same amount of money or perhaps more through unemployment benefits, Passan reports.

Other organizations are believed to be considering similar measures.

The majority of Major League Baseball's 30 clubs are reportedly committed to paying baseball operations employees through at least May.
