Shaquille O'Neal's documentary series has a premiere date.
"Shaq Life" will debut April 9 at 9 p.m. ET on the first night of TNT's new ShaqNight! programming, according to Greg Evans of Deadline. The series is narrated by Samuel L. Jackson and billed as "an exclusive, no-holds-barred look into how the world's largest superstar lives his life."
Like ESPN did with its Michael Jordan documentary, "The Last Dance," TNT decided to air the series earlier than planned due to the NBA season being suspended.
ShaqNight! will air every Thursday and feature O'Neal and famous guests watching some of his favorite movies. They'll provide commentary, compete against each other in various games, and dance to a DJ session by the NBA Hall of Famer.
