Usain Bolt is about to become a father for the first time.
The eight-time Olympic gold medalist announced Thursday on Instagram that he and longtime girlfriend Kasi Bennett are expecting a child together.
Bolt, 33, told People in 2016 he wants to have three children.
"The other day I hung out with my buddy who has three kids and it was crazy," he said. "I was like 'Hmmmm do I really want three kids?' But yes, yes I do. I'm sure of it."
Bolt retired from track and field in 2017. He stated last year that his "sports life is over," but he's indicated he would be open to playing in the NFL if the New England Patriots or Green Bay Packers called him up.
