Twitter map shows U.S. favors McGregor over Cerrone at UFC 246

Conor McGregor has the edge over Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone in fan support on Twitter ahead of UFC 246.
Geotagged Twitter data gathered by CasinoInsider.com over the past week shows that 29 states in the U.S. will be rooting for the Irishman to win Saturday's welterweight bout in Las Vegas, while 21 states favor Cerrone. More than 50,000 tweets were tracked, including hashtags like #TeamMcGregor and #TeamCerrone.
The fight will be McGregor's first appearance in the Octagon since he lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018. Cerrone is coming off two straight defeats against Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje.
