Washington Wizards guard Isaiah Thomas was ejected for entering the stands and appearing to confront a fan during the fourth quarter of his team's 125-108 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.

The incident occurred just as Thomas departed the game with 2:53 remaining. Two fans who were described as "drunk" were shouting at him, according to the Washington Post's Candace Buckner.

"I'm never going to be disrespected in any way," Thomas told reporters postgame.

"When I missed the first free throw and made the second, I'm running back, and a fan has both of his middle fingers up and said, 'F--- you b----,' three times. So then the timeout goes, and I go into the stands to confront him. I said, 'Don't be disrespectful,'" Thomas added. "And his response was, 'I'm sorry I just wanted a Frosty.' Because if you miss two free throws, I guess the fans get a Frosty."

A video with a much closer angle of the confrontation surfaced on Sunday. The new video, taken just seats away from the incident, appears to corroborate Thomas' version of the events. The point guard is seen approaching a pair of 76ers fans and calmly asking them to refrain from disrespectful activity. A voice off-camera can be heard asking "Where's the Wendy's frosty?" as Thomas walks up the aisle.

The 76ers have an in-game promotion with Wendy's called the "Frosty Freeze-Out," which gifts fans in attendance a free frozen treat if an opposing player misses two consecutive second-half free-throw attempts.

"I told my security who it was so he can get kicked out of the game, because in no way, shape, or form should that be allowed," Thomas continued. "I would never do that to anybody else, I think that crossed the line. That's not OK at all."

The NBA has a zero-tolerance policy regarding players entering the stands and fans entering the court, which dates back to the infamous Indiana Pacers-Detroit Pistons brawl of 2004.

Thomas played 25 minutes in the loss, scoring 20 points.
