Report: Twins targeting Wheeler in free agency
Zack Wheeler is a popular name this offseason.
The Minnesota Twins are the latest team that's said to be chasing the free-agent starting pitcher and have Wheeler very high on their list of targets, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network.
In Minnesota, Wheeler would help form a solid trio atop the rotation along with No. 1 starter Jose Berrios and the recently re-signed Jake Odorizzi.

Wheeler is tied to draft-pick compensation after he rejected a one-year, $17.8-million qualifying offer from his 2019 team, the New York Mets.
The 29-year-old accrued a 3.65 ERA with 8.9 WAR over the last two seasons in New York. He also registered a career-high 195 strikeouts in 2019.
The Mets, Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Angels, and San Diego Padres are all reportedly interested in signing the hurler.
