With the Dallas Mavericks up 103-100 on the Los Angeles Lakers with 6.4 seconds remaining in regulation Friday, the Mavs were planning to foul in order to avoid a potential game-tying triple.

The club failed to execute their game plan, but Dallas guard Seth Curry still had a shot at intercepting LeBron James' pass to Danny Green in the corner, which would've ended the game.

However, Curry was held held back by Lakers center Dwight Howard, allowing Green to receive James' pass and send the game into overtime with a clutch three. The foul went undetected by the officials.

"I knew what play was coming. ... I'm still there to take away that pass, and then (Dwight Howard) grabbed me and it was a no-call right in front of the official. It's just unfortunate," Curry said postgame, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

Dallas owner Mark Cuban also took notice of the missed call and voiced his displeasure on Twitter.

The Mavericks would eventually fall 119-110 in overtime to drop to 3-2 on the season.
