Kawhi thought Buccaneers fans booed him at Rams game
Los Angeles is a Lakers town, and fans made sure to remind Kawhi Leonard of that fact last month by booing the new Clippers star when he showed up to watch the Rams take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Leonard wasn't bothered by the boos though, telling Mark Medina of USA TODAY Sports that he initially assumed they were coming from the visiting supporters.
"I didn't really notice it at first. I thought it was just Buccaneers fans," Leonard said. "There were a lot of Buccaneers fans."

Leonard, who grew up in L.A., is very familiar with the rivalry between the city's two NBA teams.
"It's not new to me. It's like second nature," he said. "I grew up in a household full of Lakers fans."
Leonard and the Clippers will open their 2019-20 campaign against the Lakers on Tuesday night.
