The Los Angeles Kings earned a spot in the record books during Staples Center's 20th-anniversary celebration on Thursday night.
The Kings Game Presentation Department set a new Guinness World Record for the "Largest Laser Show" by using 642 lasers, according to LAKings.com.
Andrew Glass, a judge with Guinness, was on hand to confirm the new record, which surpassed the previous mark of 342 lasers.
