Like many around New York, Knicks rookie RJ Barrett likes what he's seen from Giants quarterback and fellow Duke alum Daniel Jones over his first two NFL starts.

"I'm really happy and really excited to see that he's doing well," Barrett said of Jones at the Knicks' media day on Monday, according to Adam Zagoria of Forbes.

Barrett hasn't met Jones, but that could change soon.

"As a team we went to a Duke football game," Barrett said, referring to his time with the Blue Devils. "I would love to go to a Giants game."

Jones earned his second win as the Giants' starting quarterback on Sunday, leading the team to a 24-3 victory over the Washington Redskins. The Giants are now 2-2 this season.

The Knicks open their season on Oct. 23 on the road against the San Antonio Spurs.
