The Toronto Blue Jays traded right-handed pitchers Aaron Sanchez and Joe Biagini and outfield prospect Cal Stevenson to the Houston Astros in exchange for outfielder Derek Fisher on Wednesday, the clubs announced.

Sanchez, 27, owns a 6.07 ERA and a 5.04 FIP over 23 starts for the Blue Jays this season. He won the ERA title and made his only All-Star appearance in 2016.

The former first-round pick has one more year of arbitration remaining before becoming eligible for free agency following the 2020 season.

Biagini has authored a 3.86 ERA and a 4.45 FIP in 2019 while working exclusively out of the bullpen.

Originally a Rule 5 draft pick by San Francisco Giants, the 29-year-old had been used as a starter in previous campaigns but struggled in the role with a 6.08 ERA over 22 games. He'll enter the first of three years of arbitration eligibility this winter.

Stevenson, 22, ranked as the No. 25 prospect in the Jays' system, according to MLB Pipeline. In 90 games at High-A this year, Stevenson was hitting .298/.388/.393 with five homers and 11 steals.

Fisher, 25, has posted a .649 OPS with 10 home runs and nine stolen bases in 112 major-league games over three seasons with Houston.
