The Los Angeles Dodgers-San Francisco Giants rivalry is alive and well.

Dodgers infielder Max Muncy and Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner exchanged words during a game on June 9 after the pitcher was less than pleased about the reaction to a long home run into McCovey Cove.

"Bumgarner said, 'Don't watch the ball, run,' and I just told him if he doesn't want me to watch the ball, go get it out of the ocean," Muncy said postgame.

Muncy sported a T-Shirt featuring the now-infamous "Go get it out of the ocean" response just days after the initial confrontation, and he decided to wear it again during batting practice before Thursday's anticipated rematch at Dodger Stadium.

The shirt caught the eye of Giants manager Bruce Bochy, who fired back at Muncy shortly before first pitch.

"The T-shirt, hey, that's poking the bear," Bochy told reporters, according to John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle. "You poke the bear enough, you can't be upset if he fights back, either. Sometimes it's best to just let it go."

Muncy wasn't the only member of the Dodgers who had fun trolling Bumgarner on Thursday. Once the game began, the Dodger Stadium game ops crew got in on the act:

Unfortunately for Bochy and Bumgarner, it was Muncy who got the first laugh Thursday when he laced an RBI single off the left-hander in the first inning. He's now reached base safely in 29 consecutive games.
