Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant won't play in Game 2 against the Toronto Raptors, but head coach Steve Kerr insists that "it's feasible" that the forward could return with just a single practice under his belt.

"It's really a day-to-day thing," Kerr told reporters Sunday, including ESPN's Nick Friedell. "If we had a crystal ball, we would have known a long time ago what we were dealing with. It's just an injury; there's been a lot of gray area.

"So literally it's just day to day and how the progress is coming. And at this point he's still not ready."

Durant traveled with the team to Toronto for Games 1 and 2, but has yet to be cleared for practice. Game 4 is reportedly the "most logical option" for his return.

The 10-time All-Star hasn't played since suffering a right calf strain in Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Houston Rockets and leads all postseason scorers with 34.2 points per game on 51.3 percent shooting.

Golden State dropped Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday - their first loss since Durant's injury.

The series resumes Sunday at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
