Jamie Foxx hints that Mike Tyson biopic is 'one step closer'

The long-discussed Mike Tyson biopic starring Jamie Foxx appears to be moving forward.

Foxx posted a photo of himself and Tyson on Instagram on Wednesday with the caption, "Thank u for the trust ... one step closer."

Foxx, who won an Academy Award for his portrayal of legendary musician Ray Charles in the 2004 biopic "Ray," said in 2015 that he and Tyson had pitched the yet-to-be-titled film to Paramount.

Famed director Martin Scorsese is also reportedly attached to the project.
