Teigen, Legend gifted 'Renaissance painting' of Wade crashing into them

Miami Herald Sports/Twitter

The photo of Dwyane Wade crashing into model Chrissy Teigen and singer John Legend during his final home game with the Miami Heat has been turned into a work of art.

Teigen jokingly referred to the photo as a Renaissance painting after the Miami Herald - whose photographer, Charles Trainor Jr., captured the viral moment - reached out to her on Twitter afterward asking if she wanted a copy.

Spalding took note of Teigen's tweet and commissioned artist Hugh Syme to create an oil painting of the fall.

Wade said after the game that he had no idea it was Teigen and Legend that he crashed into.

"I had no idea, man, but when I looked back and saw it was John and Chrissy, luckily the game was still going on and I had to keep going, but I was just like 'Dang.' My whole back was wet. John had beer all over him. Luckily, we're friends," he said, according to the Miami Herald's Anthony Chiang.
