Virginia overcame Auburn's huge comeback with the help of a crucial missed call during the final seconds of Saturday's Final Four matchup.

Virginia's Ty Jerome took control of the ball with 5.4 seconds remaining and his Cavaliers down by two.

The junior guard attempted to go behind his back to escape Auburn's pressure, but the ball bounced off his leg, which should have halted his ability to keep his dribble. However, Jerome continued dribbling after regaining possession, and a double-dribble should have been called.

The Tigers quickly committed an intentional foul with 1.5 seconds remaining after the missed call, which led to this:

The Cavaliers held a 10-point lead with 5:24 to go. Then the Tigers roared back with a 14-0 run to take a four-point lead with 17 seconds left.

Kyle Guy's huge contested three kept the Cavaliers in the game late before the missed double-dribble call led to his three game-clinching free throws, and Virginia reaching its first National Final in school history.
