The Detroit Pistons have agreed to a deal that will send forward Stanley Johnson to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for center Thon Maker, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Johnson has struggled to find his place with the Pistons after being drafted No. 8 overall in 2015. He will have an opportunity to start fresh and swallow up minutes as Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo's backup.
The 22-year-old is averaging 7.5 points and 3.6 rebounds in 20 minutes per game.
Maker requested a trade from the Bucks to receive an increase in playing time. The Sudanese big man should see more minutes on a Detroit team that lacks perimeter shooting.
He's averaging 4.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in 11.7 minutes per game.
