On the heels of a 38-point home loss to the Dallas Mavericks, it appears changes could be on the way for the Charlotte Hornets.

The team may be ready to include Frank Kaminsky in any potential trade, league sources told Sean Deveney of Sporting News.

Deveney notes the Hornets' reported preference is to package Kaminsky along with Nicolas Batum, who is still owed $52 million over the next two years.

Kaminsky was selected ninth overall by the Hornets in the 2015 NBA Draft.

With sporadic playing time, the 25-year-old has averaged 5.6 points on 48.9 percent shooting in 22 games played this season.

He was listed as a DNP in 11 of the Hornets' first 16 games and played 16 minutes in Wednesday's blowout loss to the Mavs.

The Hornets have lost six of their past 10 games and sit seventh in the Eastern Conference with a record of 18-19 entering Thursday.
