The Cincinnati Reds have checked in with the Arizona Diamondbacks regarding veteran right-hander Zack Greinke in their pursuit of starting pitching, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports.

Cincinnati is one of 15 teams apparently named on Greinke's no-trade clause, potentially complicating a deal between the two clubs.

A report surfaced Thursday suggesting that Cincinnati was "all over" free-agent left-hander Dallas Keuchel. The club has also been tied to free-agent starters Patrick Corbin and J.A Happ.

The Diamondbacks are said to be shopping Greinke as well as superstar first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, who has one year remaining on his contract before hitting free agency next winter.

Greinke, 35, posted a 3.21 ERA and 3.71 FIP over 33 starts and 207 2/3 innings last season. It was the fourth time in five years that Greinke has reached the 200-inning plateau. The right-hander is owed $104.5 million over the final three years of his current deal.
