Mayweather-Pacquiao 2? Floyd says he's coming out of retirement for rematch
Floyd Mayweather made a major, yet unexpected, announcement Saturday.
In a caption to an Instagram video filmed in Japan, the boxing legend announced that he's "coming back to fight Manny Pacquiao this year. Another 9 figure pay day on the way."
In the video, Mayweather was shouting December as the date for the rematch. Pacquiao, also in the clip, appeared to know little about the plans, as he asked Mayweather whether a belt would be on the line.

Mayweather earned a unanimous decision victory over Pacquiao in their highly anticipated bout in May 2015.
Pacquiao has won three of his last four fights since, his most recent bout taking place on July 15 versus Lucas Martin Matthysse. Mayweather's last fight came August 2017 against MMA star Conor McGregor.
