Cubs' Rizzo on game-ending missed call: 'That can't happen'
The San Diego Padres escaped Wrigley Field with a 10-6 victory on Sunday when Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo struck out looking on what appeared to be ball four.
The call from home plate umpire Angel Hernandez was questionable at best.

Before deriding the call, an apoplectic Rizzo told reporters of his "respect" for umpires and that he has a "great working relationship" with umps across the game. Then he sounded off.
"But with that being said, that call is unacceptable," Rizzo said, according to Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune. “Angel told me to look at it. I looked at it, and he’s wrong. And I would like for him to confirm that. That can’t happen. That can’t happen in the major leagues, at Wrigley Field, at any field.”
Rizzo added that missed calls "happened all game."
Down by four at the time, the Cubs had a runner on third base and were still alive despite odds not being in their favor.
"We’re fighting right there," manager Joe Maddon said. "The way the wind is blowing, you get a couple more baserunners and anything can happen. … It was a tough call to end the game on."
