Boston Celtics restricted free agent Marcus Smart met with two teams on Monday and is scheduled to meet with two more on Tuesday, according to the Boston Globe's Adam Himmelsbach.

The defensive specialist is reportedly willing to sign a multi-year deal worth less than his initial asking price of $15 million per season.

The Sacramento Kings could be one of the teams looking to land Smart after the Chicago Bulls matched their offer sheet for Zach LaVine, according to NBC Boston's A. Sherrod Blakely.

If Smart chooses to sign an offer sheet, the Celtics would have the right to match the contract because he was extended a qualifying offer. This also allows Smart to decline all offers and settle for his one-year, $6.1-million qualifying offer, which would allow him to play another season with the Celtics and become an unrestricted free agent in 2019.

Any team that chooses to supply Smart with an offer sheet will potentially land one of the best defensive players in the NBA, who's capable of guarding any position despite his 6-foot-4 frame. They'll also risk signing an erratic offensive player who's had his fair share of boneheaded errors including needing stitches after punching a picture frame at a hotel in Los Angeles last season.

Smart has played all four years of his career in Boston after being drafted sixth overall by the Celtics in 2014. He averaged 10.2 points, 3.5 boards, and 4.8 assists last season.
