Baltimore Orioles closer Zach Britton hasn't been back from injury for long, but teams are reportedly beginning to show trade interest in the two-time All-Star, who once saved 47 games in a season.

Britton is being heavily scouted by teams, including the Boston Red Sox, according to Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe.

The 30-year-old southpaw is fully recovered from surgery on his right Achilles tendon, and aside from a meltdown against the Atlanta Braves on June 22, when he allowed four earned runs in a third of an inning, he hasn't allowed a run.

Boston's bullpen owns the third-lowest ERA in the AL behind the New York Yankees and Houston Astros - two of its toughest competitors. Adding Britton would give the Red Sox a formidable one-two punch at the tail end of their bullpen along with Craig Kimbrel.

Before rupturing his Achilles in December, Britton was one of MLB's best relievers, saving 135 games and never posting an ERA above 2.89 from 2014-17.
