Philadelphia 76ers GM Bryan Colangelo was caught in steaming-hot water Tuesday night when The Ringer dropped an investigative report about his alleged use of burner accounts on Twitter to leak insider team info and bash members of the Sixers organization and others around the league.

It was reported Wednesday that the Sixers are investigating the matter.

Colangelo's father, Jerry, is also employed by the franchise in an advisory role, and he wants to figure out what's going on just like everybody else.

"Well I'm sure there's going to be a lot of information as the day unfolds, certainly I'm anxious to get down to the facts," Jerry told Bleacher Report's Yaron Weitzman. "I think it's totally premature to make comments about anything. Until the facts are on the table, it would be inappropriate for a number of reasons."

When pushed by Weitzman about the facts revealed in the report by The Ringer, Colangelo responded:

"There's a lot of information, I'm not sure what are facts, what's not, who said what to whom. You can suppose a lot of things but I've been around the track a few times myself. There are times to be patient and wait for more information."

Stay tuned, as this story appears to be getting weirder by the hour.
