Look: Recapping European football's weekend of tearful goodbyes

As the rest of Europe's top leagues came to a close over the weekend, fans of three separate clubs said goodbye to a trinity of departing icons.

Fernando Torres, Andres Iniesta, and Gianluigi Buffon each bid heartfelt farewells to Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, and Juventus, respectively, after years of cementing themselves as bona fide legends at their clubs.

While each star was given a fitting send-off by his team, some of the weekend's best moments were captured by expedient photographers at the right place, at the right time.
