CM Punk thinks he should open UFC 225, not fight on main card
Many MMA fans disagree with the UFC putting CM Punk on a second straight pay-per-view main card despite a record of 0-1, and the former WWE star himself understands.
Punk, also known as Phil Brooks, will face fellow 0-1 fighter Mike Jackson in the first bout of the main card, while former bantamweight champion Holly Holm has been relegated to the prelims to face UFC newcomer Megan Anderson.
Former heavyweight Mark Coleman tweeted on Monday responding to a fan who blasted Punk's placement on the card, and the ex-pro wrestler joined in to express that if he had booked the event, he would fight in the first match of the night.
I understand too. If it was up to me, I'd be first fight on fight pass. Don't matter to me. Fans like to be outraged by stuff that doesn't matter. (Appreciate the support Mr. Coleman!!!!! You're truly the man)

Punk lost his UFC debut via first-round submission in September 2016 to Mickey Gall - who also handed Jackson his defeat - and has been out of action since.
