NBA Twitter shreds Cavs after Celtics' blowout Game 1 victory
LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers were not immune to online scrutiny as they got thoroughly dominated by the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals Sunday afternoon.
Cleveland trailed by 26 points at halftime and wound up losing 108-83.
People on Twitter were as relentless as Boston, and didn't let the Cavaliers off the hook for their miserable performance at TD Garden.
I actually think it’s pretty cool that the Cavs decided to rally around Tristan Thompson and collectively not show up on Mother’s Day

It's been nearly a week since the Toronto Raptors were swept out of the postseason by Cleveland in the second round, but you wouldn't know that by reading Twitter during Game 1. Toronto was the butt of many jokes as those on Twitter watched Boston decimate the team that sent the No. 1 seed packing.
Cavs lost by 25 but looking through the timeline it really does feel like the team that took the biggest L today was Toronto 🤣🤣
