With the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix tournament already underway, president Scott Coker isn't nearly finished booking MMA legends against one another.

Coker confirmed Thursday that Bellator has been trying to book another rematch between Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Wanderlei Silva, according to MMA Fighting's Marc Raimondi.

"That's something that we're talking to 'Rampage' about and talking to Wanderlei about," Coker said. "I would love to make that fight before the end of the year."

Jackson (37-13) and Silva (35-13-1) have fought three times before with "Rampage" dropping their first two matchups in Pride FC in 2003 and 2004 before landing a knockout win inside the UFC Octagon in 2008. The two former titleholders say they are both open to booking a fight, though Silva stipulates it would have to take place in his home country of Brazil.

Both men are coming off losses to Chael Sonnen as members of the Bellator roster. Silva, 42, returned from a four-year layoff to lose to Sonnen via unanimous decision in June 2017 at light heavyweight, while Jackson also lost via unanimous decision in January at heavyweight as part of the Grand Prix tournament.
