Say whatever you want about Markelle Fultz, but leave his family out of it.

The Philadelphia 76ers guard was less than pleased with a Boston Celtics fan who responded to his mother on Twitter by saying fellow rookie Jayson Tatum is Fultz's "daddy."

Tatum has been sensational in the Eastern Conference semifinals matchup between Boston and Philadelphia, leading all scorers with 24.3 points on 55.3 percent shooting to go along with 3.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists as the undermanned Celtics took the first three games. Meanwhile, Fultz hasn't played a single minute in the series, serving as a healthy scratch for the past five games including the previous round.

The careers of Fultz and Tatum may be forever intertwined after the Celtics traded down from No. 1 to No. 3 to pick the forward out of Duke last offseason, while the Sixers selected Fultz first overall.

76ers legend Julius Irving said Thursday that Tatum "probably should have been the first pick in the draft." To his credit, Fultz took the slight in stride, saying he's "never" going to let Erving's comments get to him and will instead channel them into motivation, per Philly.com's Keith Pompey.
