If you're looking for a souvenir to commemorate the Golden State Warriors' 2018 playoff run, it's probably best to just wait in line at the team store like everyone else.

At a Warriors practice last week at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, video footage reportedly caught ABC7/KGO-TV sports anchor Mike Shumann picking up and attempting to leave the premises with a jacket that belonged to a team employee, according to The Athletic's Steve Berman.

If true, Shumann probably couldn't have picked a worse target for the purported theft: the owner of the jacket in question, Ralph Walker, is not only the Warriors' director of team security, but also Stephen Curry's bodyguard.

Though Shumann reportedly apologized to members of the organization, several players apparently thought the resulting punishment was insufficient, believing the incident would have been handled differently had the alleged perpetrator not been white.

Shumann was sent back to the Bay Area while KGO is "conducting a full investigation" into the matter, per a company spokesperson.

Prior to his broadcast career, Shumann was a Bay Area athlete himself, playing wideout in the NFL for six seasons, including three for the San Francisco 49ers. He won the Super Bowl with the team in 1982.
