Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi scored late goals in a 2-2 draw against Sevilla at the Sanchez Pizjuan, extending Barcelona's 30-match unbeaten La Liga run Saturday.

Franco Vazquez and Luis Muriel scored on either side of the interval to give the host a two-goal advantage before Suarez's acrobatic 88th-minute goal was followed moments later by the equaliser from second-half substitute Messi.

Sevilla had numerous opportunities to stretch the lead after the break, with a wasteful Muriel hitting side netting on two occasions. In the end, Sevilla recorded 21 shots to Barcelona's 20, six of those hitting the target to the visitor's nine.

Barcelona's 30-match league unbeaten run is now just two short of Real Sociedad's Spanish standard from the 1979-80 season. Sevilla ended that streak nearly forty years ago, but this time around, Messi and Co. were too much as the Catalan side applied pressure late.

With the victory, Barcelona maintains an eight-point margin on second-place Atletico Madrid ahead of Los Colchoneros' visit from Deportivo on Sunday.
