It's time to pay up, Colin Cowherd.

The brash Fox Sports personality has met his match in gregarious Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Joel Embiid, a player for whom no slight goes unnoticed.

Before the season started, Cowherd boasted Embiid's upstart Sixers squad had little chance of surpassing Vegas' over-under for total wins.

Then, he doubled down on his claim by making a side bet with a Twitter user:

Well, Embiid and Co. officially hit the 40-win mark with 12 games to spare, and as is his wont, the man known as "The Process" fired back on Instagram, shouting out "Colin Coward," including the hashtag "40wins," and geotagging the post from "Coward's Farm."

Earlier in the week, with Cowherd's loss all but assured, the television host pledged to make good on his promise.

"A bet is a bet," Cowherd said on FS1's The Herd. "It looks like I'm going to lose my bet.

"So, one more (win), and I have to wear a Sixers jersey."
