Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers has been fined $15,000 for his comments made to officials following the end of Thursday's tilt between his team and the Houston Rockets.
Rivers tore into the officiating crew following the Clippers' 101-96 loss to the Rockets, calling it "a complete joke" that Houston's free-throw count nearly tripled that of Los Angeles', at 23-8.
The bench boss also singled out specific instances of his players driving to the basket and being hit by hard contact but not receiving a whistle, adding the discrepancy in calls "made no basketball sense" to him.
