Pittsburgh has fired men's basketball head coach Kevin Stallings after two seasons and a 24-41 record - including an 0-19 record in ACC play this season - the school confirmed Thursday.

The Panthers last won a game on Dec. 22 against Towson, and promptly went winless in conference play. Fifteen of those ACC losses were by double digits.

Stallings previously coached Vanderbilt for 17 years. He inherited a Pitt program in 2016 that had only missed the NCAA tournament twice in 15 seasons.
