Karl-Anthony Towns wanted an and-1 call. Instead, he got an early trip to the showers.
Already sitting on one technical foul, Towns was peeved by the lack of a foul call as he drove against Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert late in Friday's second quarter. As he strolled back up the court after the basket, the Minnesota Timberwolves center appeared to yell "Damn, call that one!" at the official, earning him the early hook. He had received his first technical just 37 seconds earlier.
It was Towns' first ejection in his three-year career.
